| description | China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. (hereafter as CNHTC) is the leading enterprise of Chinese heavy duty truck industry. The predecessor of CNHTC was Jinan Auto Works which was founded in 1956. Jinan Auto Works trial-produced China's first heavy duty truck--the 8-ton Huanghe JN150 in April, 1960, which ended the history that China could not make heavy duty trucks. Inspired by the belief of "Making Huanghe trucks and being Huanghe people", during over half a century, several generations of Huanghe people have been carrying out the self-reliant, hard-working and unremitting spirit and making tremendous contributions to the development of China's heavy duty truck industry.
At present, CNHTC owns nine series and over 2,700 types of heavy duty trucks including HOWO, Sitaier King, Sitaier, Golden Prince, Haojun, Haoyun and Huanghe, etc. CNHTC has become the heavy duty truck company with the most complete driving types and tonnages. The company has developed the brand-new HOWO-A7 series, which makes her become the only heavy duty truck enterprise manufacturing automatic transmission in large scale. "CNHTC" and "SINOTRUK" brands have also become heavy duty truck brands with acknowledged international reputation. The "Qinren" service brand has turned out to be the first registered service brand in the auto industry, which wins widespread praise. On November 28, 2007, CNHTC was listed on the Hong Kong stock market and raised nearly 10 billion Hong Kong dollars. The company then acquired 6.3 billion Hong Kong dollars from MAN Company in July, 2009. The successful capital operation offers CNHTC with solid financial strength and pushes the company into the golden ages.
In 2019, SINOTRUK achieved sales of 280,000 vehicles, among which 40,000 medium and heavy trucks were exported, Actually, SINOTRUK ranks first for 15 consecutive years in the export of heavy trucks in China. Up to now, SINOTRUK has achieved sales in more than 110 countries, established 67 overseas Representative Offices and administrative offices, and developed 125 initial distributors, 277 authorized service networks and 239 part-and-accessory networks in more than 90 countries. Meanwhile, 22 overseas cooperative KD factories and 21 part warehouses in 15 countries/regions have also been established.
